HIWA delivered emergency water, sanitation and hygiene assistance to flood-affected and vulnerable communities in Beledweyne.
The final report records water trucking for 1,600 households (9,600 people), rehabilitation of 10 shallow wells and construction of two elevated water tanks.
HIWA constructed 197 latrines, including 30 designed for people with disabilities, distributed 2,000 household hygiene kits and trained 24 hygiene promoters. These are reported activity results; people reached through different services may overlap.
